About

about Lisa
I have been performing on stage for more than 20 years. This led me to become a 1st Soprano in the BBC Symphony Chorus in 2017, and since then I have performed at the BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall, including for the First Night and Last Night of The Proms. I have worked with musicians such as Jon Hopkins for the world premier of his new piece “Athos”, and Father John Misty at the Barbican Centre for Performing Arts.
Previously, I was a 2nd soprano in the London Philharmonic Choir – I was involved regularly with the BBC Proms, performed at the Royal Festival Hall, and toured twice in France. One of the highlights of my singing career was when I participated in a live performance of songs from the Final Fantasy XV soundtrack, with Final Fantasy composer Yoko Shimomura at Abbey Road Studios. I have performed with some of the most prestigious orchestras and conductors, including the London Philharmonic, the BBC Symphony, Jules Buckley and Karl Jenkins.
I have an Honours Bachelor of Music degree from Newcastle University and the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign), with a Major study in Vocal Performance and Minor study in Music Therapy. While my main focus was in Performance, my studies also had particular emphasis in Music Education and Alexander Technique.
I have been through stage anxiety in my career and can relate to how intense it can be. But I have developed tools for working with it, even overcoming it in many cases. I have learned that singing is not just how you use your voice, but also your personal experiences, your body and your mind. I absolutely love to share my techniques and am proud to have developed so many positive relationships with my clients. My intention is and always has been to give you a comfortable space to share your goals, refine your talent and most importantly – to be yourself.
